A collage of many pictures of elderly people, alone or in groups. One elderly woman is sitting alone on a wheel chair, while there’s another picture of a care home. Another picture where an old man is watching something on his laptop. One man has his head down and seems sad, while sitting on his bedside. Two group pictures shows elderly people involved in group activities and having fun.

Our story

ElderLink was born in the UK with a simple but powerful idea: wisdom shouldn’t fade with age – it should be shared.

Our founder, Barry, saw firsthand how many older people have rich life stories, skills, and insights, but limited platforms to share them. At the same time, younger generations – navigating career decisions, relationships, and personal challenges – crave real human connection and guidance. ElderLink was created to bridge that gap.

We’re building a space where experience meets curiosity. A place where an 80-year-old cancer survivor mentors a 25-year-old facing their own health challenges. Where a retired businesswoman chats weekly with a 33-year-old entrepreneur navigating the highs and lows of building something new. Where generations connect not through obligation, but through genuine interest and mutual growth.

The first version of ElderLink is just the beginning. With the right support, we aim to grow a global network of shared wisdom – one meaningful conversation at a time.

This isn’t just tech for good. It’s tech for dignity, purpose, and connection.”

Market Readiness

ElderLink App is co-designed with elderly and older adults from various UK Local Councils.

For the Elderly

  • The global elderly care market is projected to reach $2.4 trillion by 2030
  • The global population is ageing rapidly, people over 60 will nearly double from 12% in 2015 to 22% by 2050.
  • This growing demographic holds immense knowledge but often lacks meaningful avenues to share their stories or connect with younger generations.

For Younger Generations

  • Younger generations (Gen Z, Millennials) are drawn to purpose-driven platforms, making Elder Link’s mission a potential differentiator.
  • Meanwhile, younger people increasingly seek life guidance, wisdom, and mentorship. ElderLink addresses this gap by creating a simple, accessible platform that connects the generations—reducing loneliness and enriching lives.
